Abegweit First Nation Mi'kmaq Wellness Centre in Prince Edward Island is a health care centre that promotes traditional healing methods alongside European (Western) styles of healing. The health care professionals in our First Nation communities work in collaboration with each other, families and individuals.

We offer a variety of programs and services to our Mi'kmaq communities of Scotchfort, Morell and Rocky Point, including immunization, wellness sessions, drop in clinics, screening clinics, diabetes education, foot care and addiction programs. Regular clinic hours will be holding regular clinic hours on April 25, 2017.  Dr. Armstrong will not be holding a clinic on May 2, 2018.  Regular clinic hours will resume on May 9, 20178

We are approved by Accreditation Canada. Accreditation Canada is a not-for-profit, independent organization accredited by the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua). They provide national and international health care organizations with an external peer review process to assess and improve the services they provide to their patients and clients based on standards of excellence.
